Dee Dee and Hallie

I had the surgery yesterday and am glad that's over. I have to say though....if they would just give me a lifetime supply of lorazapam, I'd be FINE! That stuff rocks.  :headbang: Although I did lose huge chunks of time...and hallucinated on the table. I was lying there thinking I was holding Hallie in my arms, I could totally see every hair on her head, smell her, etc, I had my arms positioned like I was really holding her and and I kept leaning forward trying to kiss the back of her head, but I couldn't feel her so I kept trying to kiss her...I'm sure that looked intelligent. I only have snapshots of the day, riding in a car, eating macaroni and cheese (???), I remember someone saying they were taking Hallie out to potty for me I know I spent a lot of time curled up with her on the floor. I talked to Delia on the phone and I do remember most of that I think! Unless I said some dumb stuff I've forgotten. Anyway now we just wait...again, I have been thru this crap for over a year and a half now, painful procedure, wait for results, etc etc I have just about had it I hope Hallie and I both will get a break soon.  :verdict:

Wow!   I missed that you were going into surgery today!!  I'm glad its over and I pray this one works!!!!         That's so funny that you hallucinated about holding your baby girl.  When I had my wisdom teeth removed,  they had to remind me to breathe and I tried to run away.  Along with calling the surgeon some notso nice names because it hurt.    :doah:  Talk about embarrassing!!!

Please keep us posted on how you are doing.  I hope you have someone there to help Hallie take care of you!!    :comfort:

Roberta

Glad to hear you had a real groovy time. I apparently demanded a beer as I was so thristy, and I hate beer. Now cross all fingers and toes for the results.

Ha I'm glad I'm not the only one who does embarrassing things under the influence...
This surgery was unrelated to stomach...sigh. Waiting to hear results. Hallie is doing a great job taking care of me on her own!  :thumb:

Now my computer is dying...again! Fourth time this year. So it's going into the shop hopeuflly this weekend so will be awol for a few days no doubt. Grrrr. Good thing I have a painting to work on and a pupper to snuggle and help me catch up on work around the house and yard!

I'm glad the surgery is in the past and hope the results are good and you don't have to wait forever. Did you get to start on the stomach meds yet?
Hopefully you won't have to be AWOL too long and the computer illness will be less complicated (and expensive) than yours
Enjoy the snuggling time and painting time.

I am just now seeing this. I knew about the surgery but didn't know the post was here. Anyway, results are back and normal - yay!!!!! Hallie is doing well and being kept busy with her nursing duties. She does, BTW, have her RN title, so she's a professional! AND ... DD is back online. I'm guessing she hasn't had time to update us, but ... I just did. Now if we can just get her stomach fixed, she'll be good as new!

I hope things go your way and that you don't have to go through that again.

Thank goodness everything turned out normal :apls: :apls:.....so relieved for you Dee Dee :thumb:

Have you heard any results from your surgery, yet??  Was wondering, I don't know how long it takes to get results.  :xfinger:
