Now for the finger crossing part. My sister talked to her Hubby about Sidney...and he said he would consider another dog...so she has sent out an email request about him.  This sad little boy would fit so well into their family!! She already has two rescues, Buddy and Mac. Buddy is her little disabled boy (had back surgrey and will never be the same, but he doesn't know that!), and Mac is the sweetest natured dachshund I have ever met. Sidney would fit in so perfeclty, and I am sure would become fast friends with both of them. I will keep you all updated as soon as I hear anything!

What a heartbreaking story....so many of them are.  Crossing fingers and paws here that it works out for him to go to his forever home with your sister !!!!  He is gorgeous and I am sure will blossom with love and care.  Please keep us posted !
