We went to the beach

Last weekend, we stayed overnight and brought 3 horses with us who stayed at the cottage we rented with us. It was really fun, Hallie had a ball. I took tons of horse pics and got to ride my dream horse, Thor (huge black friesian) down the beach while my cousin held Hallie who watched with her eyes bugging out as Mom rode away on the big doggie....I also rode my first moped and drove it very quickly into a ditch, flew over the top and landed in the gravel.

VERY fun to watch everyone run over to see if I was ok. Black and blue but worth every bruise. I got to walk Hallie way down the beach too, and she loved spending the night and getting a lot of attention and goodies and beach time. It was 85 degrees when we left home but 59 at the beach. Felt good though. The last pic is my cousin on Thor.

And Hallie at the horse races! (Same cousin as the beach, has the rescue thoroughbred that turned out to be a Secretariat grandson, this is his second season of racing).

Great pictures Miss Hallie looking great too looks like she had allot of fun checking out the big dogs.The Friesian is a super great looking horse bet he was a easy horse to ride. You really needed to get away and relax and have some fun.Papbouv

Sandi those horses like to sniff her and when they blow out it fans her ears back. Heh. Tummy is up and down thanks but if the cardiologist passes my ekg I can start on a drug we are getting from Canada in hopes it will help! How is your back doing??

Roberta we both had beach hair! The gal holding her in her lap has hair just like mine...curly and frizzes when wet (ugh). But she gets hers thermal reconditioned, and it makes it stick straight and shiny and it lasts for about 9 months! Her hair looked perfect all weekend even in the wind and rain and galloping on the horses while mine turned into medusa. I am going to have mine done, she gets out of bed in the morning looking perfect even!

Hallie here...Amy I share your secret, I love the sand and playing on the beach but NO NO to the water! It's just a huge bathtub as far as I'm concerned and I don't want any part of it. Don't they know our longhair hair will get mussy? Here is a video of me showing Mom that water melts little Princesses...

She really did Papbouv, I never let her on the ground near them we lost a doxie that way when I was a kid, but she likes when I hold her up to sniff nosies. Thor was very fun to ride not very smooth though he picks his feet up really high and you kind of get thrown about but it's really fun. He is such a kind soul but he is afraid of things, so you have to be ready for a bolt to the side. It's funny such a huge horse is the chicken of the bunch. Here is a shot I got of him at the beach last year, unfortuantely this year we did not get any sun which would have been wonderful for evening photos, the lighting wsan't good at all this year.

Hallie here again...can I come and live with SOMEONE here? Anyone? Today my Mom took me to the vet because she found a pink spot on the inside of my lip....it cost her $26.40 (deal!) for the vet to tell her it is just the color of my lip. SHEESH!!! She thought it was swollen but 2 vets said no I'm fine...Tuesday she took me to the vet for my allergy shot, yesterday she took me to the vet with her when she took that FIRECRACKER to 2 vet clinics and today she took me to the vet to tell her my lip was natuarallly pink! Tomorrow I have an appointment for my lip too but she said she'll cancel since we got in somewhere else today...she's outta control!

Miz Hallie BB, sweetie, you would pretty much get the same thing from most any of us! We all are a little crazy when it comes to the health and well being of our precious babies. Your mommy just loves you soooooo much!

Dee - the pictures are great as always! I love the ones of Thor. He is a beauty! I also love the nose to nose pictures. Sounds like you all had a wonderful time!

The "back of the heads" picture is great, I love that kind of stuff. And the silouette of the thorough bred in the surf is really amazing.
