I have, thanks to my own indecisive nature, found myself with a spare bottle of Petzlife dental spray...if anyone would like it, I will happily send it to you!  Just message me your address...or you can just reply to this and I'll email you for it.  (I'd say to just send me an email, but my email listed in my profile here is my personal email and that's blocked from work.  BOO.)

Scooter and I have been enjoying the brief respite from the ridiculous heat here in Missouri.  We have found a new park nearby to go walking in - it has lakes and ducks and trees and squirrels and lots of other dogs to say hello to and baseball-playing men to eye suspiciously.  We've taken to driving out there and meeting our friends D. and Sparky for evening constitutionals.  Fun times!  And I think good for Scooter to get the exercise - he can still go quite the distance for an old man.  (Scooter: HEY!)   Unfortunately it looks like the DANGEROUS HEAT OF DANGER will be returning tomorrow, but we're looking forward to the next cold front and promise it brings of lovely evening walks.

Really, is there much in the world more wonderful than enjoying a nice long ramble with your beloved Wiener Dog?

We take Finnegan out pretty late when it cools down and there is this strip of grass along a building where we walk and EVERYTIME we reach it i hand the leash over to Fins Dad and they run full speed down the hill. It makes me laugh everytime because now Fin just waits to be handed over and then runs as fast as his little legs can take him, then rolls around at the bottom of the hill, i love it! Makes my day, because its obvious he loves it so much. His favorite part of the walk.

Not to mention seeing this big, tough guy chansing this little weenie so he can have a little run is just too cute. They both get extra smooches when we get home.

Awww - This is completely ADORABLE, and yes, both Fin and Fin's Dad deserve extra smooches for it!   The absolute unfettered joy our dogs display when they're doing something they love is really a beautiful thing, isn't it?

Well he brings so much joy and love to our life, its the least we can do for him.

They are such key players in peoples lives. Fin IS my kid. Whenever i hear people talking about their children i'm like "Thats how i feel about Finnegan!" I cry if something hurts him, i laugh when he is happy. And i know that alot of people think i am nuts for it.

Dogs are Gods gift. I cannot imagine a world without them. They are what people should try to be like. Love everyone, live for the simple things. When your hungry eat, when your playful bark, and if someone p*sses you off, show them your teeth!

Not I.  I feel the same way about Scooter!  Just like I did for my beloved Sparky before him!

Or, if you're Scooter, your gums!

Ha ha i bet Scooters gums are VERY intimidating!

I'm an esthetician and lord help them if one of my guests asks me what kind of Dog i have or ANYTHING about him. I can go on for the entire service. One of the girls i work with is the same about her dog, so when we do double services its almost a given that the conversation is going to be about dogs.

Yesterday we had a lady and her daughter in for Pedicures and we started on about Fin and Ruby and the woman started laughing and said "You two are so funny about your dogs! If someone had just walked in on this convo they would have thought you were talking about your kids!" Which is how it always is.

I think alot of people think its funny alos because i'm quite young, when they ask me about my weekend they expect me to mention a bar or party and i'm always like "Took my dog for a walk, went to Petsmart, played catch.. you know the good stuff"

Heh.  "The good stuff".  Couldn't have said it better myself.
