Hi! My name is Kari and I am owned by Penny a 2 1/2 year old smooth, red tweenie! I live in Sunny San Diego with my husband Drew, Penny and our cat Tucker. Drew created this site for my birthday because I love talking about Penny! I truly hope you enjoy it and all it has to offer.

Kari, I usually use a message board on the dachshund circus @ http://members.boardhost.com/weinerwritings/ 
They are many, many caring knowledgable nice folks there.  Many are involved in rescue and do wonderful things for the babies!  I posted a note there this morning about your new board.   :thumb:
You may want to visit the site and meet some of the folks and invite them here.  This site looks great, I hope it brings caring dachshund lovers.

yes we are aware of the Dachshund Circus Wiener Writings board, in fact that is why I developed this site for Kari's birthday. I was hoping it would be a nice improvement from the existing board. We have contacted the board admin and we are going to address her concerns with the changes so that everyone, including those with lower bandwidth and who prefer a different thread viewing style can make use of the new features. :thumb: We definitely didn't want to step on any toes with this board.

Hey, Drew, I love the folks at the other board and don't want to offend anyone.  I was just so pleased with the way this board looks and appears, I thought to tell them about it!  The gal, Krista asked me to keep quiet about this board until it is up and running, she sent me an email!  I just thought I was doing something nice!
I also thought this is up and running?  Seems to be great to me!  I hope you all figure it out, until then if I am welcome, I'll keep stopping by here!  Thanks!
