Well  we had been for a goferaride goferawalk with nanna and da boys. We had to go back to nanna's to fix something nanna had bought and needed mum to hold da other end. Well after a while (5min) I chucked and raced to mum with da pick me up. Wez went home and I wuz moaning somumz drove like a mad woman and won't let ollie have his head out da window (she drives at snail pace for that) when I got home I wus rubbing my nose on da carpet and beein silly. Now my mum is paranoid about snakes and thought that in the 10 min I walked I coulda found one, so she phoned the emergency vet, and he said it sounded more like an insect bite, and said to give me an 1/8 of panadol, said to look into my eyes if da pupil was pin prick when she shone the torch in my eyes as in snake bits they dilate.
Iz is resting now.

mum here I went out and checked her crate and there was bee in it so I expect she was stung, Funny thing was I was going to take it out and let her ride with Oliver as we have one of those sling things so she cannot fall into the seat well.  I had let her walk for about 10 mins and at one point we had not looked back at her for a min, but she seemed really bubbly and bright eyed. So I now will check her crate prior to loading her. Plus its getting real cold near o here so no self respecting snake would be about now, but I'm paranoid.

I have come to the conclusion that Oliver and Amy think they are supposed to keep your mind sharp since you have retired. They want to make sure it doesn't go to mush. By causing all the excitement, it keeps you on your toes!

Oh my!!!!  Can you encase them both in some bubble wrap?  Then we know they would be safe   Thank goodness it wasn't a snake!!

Goodness!  Glad it was only a bee sting and not snake bite.  I worry about snakes with my crew, especially LIly the huntress.
