Double Supper for a Smart Brown Dog!

Ha! I went with my mom to Uncle D's last night; and let me tell you about Uncle D and the supper he makes for his furkid, Sparky. Home-cooked rice and hamburger over kibble, and then cheese sprinkled on top and also some canned chicken and bits of bacon. Clearly Uncle D loves Sparky a WHOLE DARN LOT, because that's the best supper I think I've ever seen.

I wonder why I, who am both handsome and awesome, only get canned food. NO FAIR, MOM. Well, I do occasionally get slices of vienna sausages or scrambled eggs with nice soft cheese mixed in, but still, when I go to Uncle D's the food smells and looks SO GOOD. And Sparky just nibbles on it very leisurely and drives me crazy like WHOA. Because you know I could hoover that up in .03 seconds. I think he probably just doesn't know that this is how dogs are SUPPOSED to eat their food.

So last night, I decided to show him. OH YES. Uncle D was not paying attention and he put Sparky's bowl on the floor instead of up on the coffee table, where he usually stands up and eats when I'm visiting. So as soon as Uncle D and my mom left the room I ate up all that food before you could even count to ten it was SO GOOD, as I might have mentioned earlier. OM NOM NOM.

Sparky was all busy playing with a toy and did not notice at all. He is silly. Maybe this is a Maltese thing? I do not understand. However, mom and Uncle D noticed right away when they came back in and that bowl was licked so clean it SHONE. And even though I put on my best innocent face (you should see how adorable I am when I do it) they totally suspected me.

For some reason, this seemed to really worry them both, and mom was going on about my stitches and stolen teeth and OMG I'm supposed to be on soft food for many days and blah blah weird human fretting. I fail to understand what the problem is. I am one hundred percent a-okay cheerful fine! What surgery? FOOD WAS GOOD. Silly mom.

Wouldn't any Dachshund worth his - or her - fur seize such an opportunity? We are HUNGRY dogs! Also smart. Don't you think?

It was YUMMY and DELICIOUS and really, I should be fed hamburger and chicken and bacon and cheese every night. This is what I have decided. I am right now staring meaningfully at my mom so that she may know this. In fact, I think we all should get dinners like this! Come on, moms and dads!

Hey Scooter...dis is Bella Sanders (da curvy one) again. Mama gibs Oscy and Buelah an Dat Baby Beatrice dog da Little Ceaser's food at night sometimes. Do ya know what I get? Stupid brown rice and boiled chicken. Mama tries to add some chicken broth to make it tastier but come on now...it's not da Little Ceaser's. I eat it because I would probley starve to death if I didn't! She eben got dis Weight Contwol kibble for me. Doesn't she know dat Curvy girls are HOT right now??? Does she ALWAYS got to listen to Dr. M? Seriously Scooter...if you figure out how to get da good suppers every night please tell me how. I am trying but mamas not buyin!

Come hang out with me for awhile and I'll get you the good suppers! I am CRAFTY. My mom doesn't have food from this small Caesar person, but she does have food from Pizza the Hut sometimes and I will share that with you too!
