By that it means no out of front door with out leashes.
MUm here..............words fail me I could have killed them BOTH. It's really windy and rain (yes rain we don't get that much at the moment) has been coming accross in waves. So in one of the sunny breaks I let them out the front. Oliver went wee's and I sat on the verandah away from the wind................then wuff and he had stumbled ontoa  rabbit sunning itself, I shouted NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and it ran towards me, I think it is the idiot from the other night. Then it darted down the hill with Oliver following, I yelled Wait OLiver and he did.................but forgot Amy on she plunged through the electric fence with Oliver who had thought "if she can go so can I". I caught up with them and Madam had the bunny and did not want to let go. She did after a tap and scream  from mum, the rabbit hopped away favouring one of its back legs. Then the little $%#@ were going to run again, so I grabbed both and hoisted them under each arm and trugged up the hill through the fence and dumped them in their own area. And here is me worried about her back...............
The worst was I have done the muscles in my back it was bad enough trying to stay upright and run then to cart them back plus I was wearing a pair of slide in shoes I keep for trotting to the bin etc.
Then amy had the cheek to get snotty as she had grass under her legs........................
I'm not sure how the rabbit is I daresay its gone to its burrow,  So anyone want two dachies...........................

Oh boy.  Oliver and Amy, maybe you should just CONSIDER listening to your mama when she's yelling at you.  It's hard, I know, but she's trying to do what's best for you.

Hopefully you've recovered, Roberta!  What a scare!

Merion

How is it they always spot just what they shouldn't and off they go.

Hope there are no further problems with the back for either of you.

You pups need to listen......don't you feel sorry that mom is hurting because of you.

OH my....I kept wrestling with should I laugh or worry as I was reading this. What an, um....exciting day you guys had! Can you just imagine what was going through Amy's head when she had the poor bunny...(and Olivers!). I'm glad the bunny survived but hope he will be ok, yes that isn't a very smart bunny if it's the same from the other day. I know...how you worry about their backs at a time like that you have to save them from themselves the little tarts! But what about your back, did you mean it was hurt before this or because of this? Roberta you have to understand the meaning of "retirement" and "relaxation" you haven't had too much of either since you've been in your new place! Things have to calm down soon!! Kids give Mom a break now and no more leading the race down that huge hill.... :thumb:
