Another Newbie from California

Hello everyone!  As you can see I'm Pokey's Mom.   :grin:  He is my heart.  We adopted him when he was 9 years old, and now he is a healthy 13 year old.  He recently made a cross-country move with us, from Chicago to California, and we are both loving the sun.

It's great to see so many friends, and I can't wait to make more!

well well well... love me some Pokey and Marta.  How IS Miss Hissyfit Britches, anyway?? For those of you who do not know, Marta is an "ugly Dachshund" meaning she has the soul of a dachsie but got the wrong breed body somehow.  She might be having a little SA but her momma is THE  BEST at nurturing wtih a side order of boot camp...

 :apls: Hello everyone!!  I am truly thankful for all of the freindships that were brought into my life this year. 

Thank heavens Miss Fussy Bum Marta is settling down!   :hello2:  We can easily leave her for two hours now.  On Friday, we went to a movie and Pokey and Marta did very well for five hours!!!  (This is a big breakthrough since we started with 5 second "leaves" a few months ago, no joke.)

Whenever they do an overnight at doggie day care there is a regression phase, but thank heavens above they bounce back pretty quickly.
