Some rays for my aunt

My Mom's sister, my aunt Dorothy, has been in an assisted living facility about a mile from me so for the last several weeks Hallie and I have been going to visit her at least once a week. She gets over one thing and something else hits...she's been on dialysis for 10 years (!!!) and she now keeps getting pneumonia, congestive heart failure, she was just back in the hospital because she was hemmorhaging (sp?) and they didn't know why. She finally got back to her place here and now this morning they found her laying on the floor she has a broken neck. So she's back in the hospital and it's not looking good. She loved seeing Hallie and has a bag of treats in her room just for our visits. She is one of the last people I have left to ask about my Mom before I was born she's been telling me some good stories. We'd appreciate any prayers for her as much as I'll miss her, as miserable as she's been I am half hoping her time is about here. Here is a picture I took of her last week when Rachel was visiting.

I´m so sorry to hear this sad news about your Aunty and know how much you must be hurting at the thought of losing her and her connection to your Mum too. It doesn´t sound good for her and I really hope they are keeping her out of pain. It sounds like she´s a real battler who doesn´t intend on letting go easily, so I´ll pray for a peaceful time for her, whichever way things go. Your company must be a great comfort to her. Love to you and your family at this difficult time.

I'm so sorry DD. That is so neat that she loved seeing you and Hallie, and that she had a lot of treats for when Hallie visited. I hope she was able to tell you lots of tales about your mom. I'm sure your visits meant a lot to your Aunt.

That is what I am most sad about I think, since I got Hallie so many of my family has passed away she keeps losing people she loves in her life too. This will be her 4th family funeral (and 5th funeral all together) she's been to with me.
