Wez buried!!!

Wez got a BIG BIG snow yestaday.    It blizzarded all day long.   I had so much twubble doing my bizness yestaday.    It was so cold, mama told me I could pee right at da end of da stairs and hurry back in iffen I wanted.   I did.     I'm not sure how much we ended up wif, but da dwifts are HUGE!!!     All da woads in and out of our town are blocked, not closed, BLOCKED!!!  :crazyeyes:  Dey hab been since yestaday at 9 am.   We lost power a few times, so we couldn't check in, but we stayed safe and warm in our home.      Mama was smart and turneded up da heat to 90 so when da power went out it would stay warm for a while.   

One of da bigger drifts was chest high on my mama yestaday abternoon!!   She's 5'6" so dats pwetty tall.   Luckilly da wind blew it down to onwy waist high obernight.    No one can get anywhere, all our neighbors are stuck with drifted in cars.       So much for da Saturday pizza night at our house.      Eben da twains couldn't get frough.   

Now, tell me, xactly how is a doxie apposed to pee when dere is a big ol' dwift blocking da way?!         My daddy and da neighbor are digging it to get a pathway for hoomans and puppers.   

Hopefully, no one else got it dis bad.    If you did, we hopes you are safe and warm!!   Da bestest part is, my daddy might hafta stay home fwom werk tomorrow!!

Oh, my!  I'z glad I'm not where you are!  I wuz out doin my faborite ting by layin in the sunshine this afternoon,  Momma sez it was 65 degrees! 

I'z sorry to hear you still havin so much snow.  Yech!

The wind was so strong and cold that when we went outside we just ran out and right back in.   I did get one picture on my cell, but my carrier won't let me email it.      It was of the drift that was at the bottom of our stairs.   Sorry!! 
 

We are finally dug out!!   Justin spent all day in the driveway digging out our car.  It was blocked by a 3-4 foot tall snowdrift!     :crazyeyes:  He sure was tired last night.   We went out to drive around town and all the main roads were pretty clear by 4 yesterday afternoon, but the other streets were horrible.     People got stuck all over the place.    I'm just thankful we were home during the storm.  We are supposed to have warmer temps today (39 degrees) and really nice temps tomorrow, so our snow should melt quickly and help out our dry land.     :apls:
