Maddie & Bonnie Health Update

[Madderoos Mom]

Maddie:  The lump on her chest is, indeed, a fatty tumor.  Dr. Tanja wasn't worried about it, but we're to keep an eye on it.  Maddie had her shots just fine.  She's a legal beagle....er....I mean, dachshund again.  She may get a little Benadryl to help her sleep at night.  Doc also gave a list of natural supplements we could try.  Her chest and lungs sound good.  She's in fine shape.

Bonnie:  A + for her too.  The sneezes seem to be diminishing and the snorts she was doing after the sneezes are not any congestion.  Her teeth look good and her lungs and chest are good. 

Sooooo, we've got a fine report.  I'll try not to be a paranoid mommy.  It's just when I hear funny noises like wheezes and sneezes, I get worried.  Call me a drama queen.

We are so glad both got a good report from the vet.  Smoochies to the girls.  The Gang thinks they deserve a treat too.

You're not the only one that worries about the furkids! The minute I think something is wrong with Blusky&Manny I'm on the phone asap calling the Vet's! I thank God everyday that they have a good vet!

So relieved to hear about the wonderful report for the girls   They do deserve a treat and maybe some eggies....mom deserves a stiff drink :thumb:

Much better.  Oh, we still have our moments but I'm getting better at detecting the Stank Eye that Bonnie gives before she starts growling.  Miss Bonnie, it seems, does not like to be disturbed while she's sleeping or just waking up, for that matter.  I take little precautions here and there and that seems to help with the harmony factor.  Bonnie, in almost every way, is a complete delight and seems to really want to please.  If only I could get Maddie to sleep at night like the Bon Bon does...who will sleep on ALL NIGHT and will stay QUIETLY in her crate until she is let out when WE say it's time to get up.  Madderoo, on the other hand, is bent on having HER way, even if that means getting mommy up 2, 3 or even 4 times a night.  Ay yi yi!

I'm so glad they got a good report!   I freak out whenever Porky has the wheezes and sneezes too, so no need to feel bad.  You are not a drama queen, just a really good Mommy.        :apls:
