Loki ran into Zuzu so hard this afternoon that she literally bowled her over.  And to add insult to injury, Zuzu knocked her head on the board that borders my annual bed.  She sat looking very stunned for a minute.  :ambulance: I carried her into the house and she is walking and stuff, but seems very low keyed.  Hopefully after they have eaten they will settle down and nap.
Yesterday we took the kids out and Loki was on the step, and DH had her leash, Loki turned her head, daddy wasn't looking, and pulled her right off the step onto her chest.   :bandaid: BAD daddy!
With the two have them having back issues, every little thing is a hand wringer.

Oh no!  Poor baby..... it's no fun to get knocked over!  Maybe you should get an extra treat for having to go through all of that!

Poor babies!  Today has been rough!  I think they should both get special treats for having such a hard time!

OH boy. Those things always scare you to death, and all my friends think I'm beign overly protective. People just can't understand until they've been through it. That is one of the big reasons why I don't have another pup I would be a nervous wreck about them playing and hurting each other (just ask Ron and Delia LOL). My Jessie went down two times after playing with a friends dog and they weren't playing that rough. Enough to make you go rock yourself in a corner somewhere.  :BangHead: I'm sure the girls will be just fine, you are the best mom in the world, stuff happens to everyone know matter how careful we try to be.

I had to laugh at your title  as it reminds me of my two when they trample over each other trying to get to their humans (dogs aen't very polite), but agree it isn't very funny especially with the history of back problems.  Mine don't even have back problems yet and I still cringe when they jump off things or run into things (or slam each other into things when they are fighting).  I hope your puppers are healing well! :bandaid: :bandaid:

Hope your babies didn't bang themselves up too much!! I always worry when my two are playing. Buddy seems to forget sometimes that Heidi is old and you have to be careful with her. I worry about their backs constantly because (knock on wood) I have never had any back troubles w/ my dachsies and  I never do. Give your pups a treat from me and kisses too to feel better!
