Dis is Maddewoo and I've about had it!  I'm detting MAD!  Dat Bonnie wiff da stoopid lampshade on her head keeps bouncing me and I don't like it one wittle bit!  Last night, she bounced me once too many times and I GRRRRRR'd at her.  Well then she GRRRRRR'd at me and then we had a wegular GRRRRRRRR fest.  Mommy wasn't happy wiff either of us....BUT IT TWERE'NT my fault.  She bounced me and that lampshade thingy is SHARP.  Ha!  I won in the end though cuz I got to sweep in da big bed and Bonnie had to sweep in da cwate because she wasn't forgivin' and forgettin'.  Mommy sez she sounds like wumbly tunder when she grrrrrrrs.

Mommy here.  I will be sooooo glad when Bonnie is out of that cone.  I really think that's where are big problems are at.  She is SO bouncy and just runs over Maddie and Maddie (bless her pea pickin' heart) is very tolerant most of the time but last night, she really let the Bon Bon hear her displeasure.  Bonnie's owie is SO slow at healing.  It's much better but not completely gone and if I don't supervise while she's coneless, she preens her back and opens it up again.  What do you think?  Would the dog saliva be a good thing?  She does seem to debreed it when she does this.  I'm sick of the cone.  She has been a real trooper with it.

Alex here:  I loved to bonk Willy on the tush when I had to wear a cone for two weeks.  It was fun to sneak up behind him and GOOSE him a good one!!!

Poor Bonnie and Maddie! That cone is such a pain, did we all talk about the softer neck one before for her? I think many of us have bad memories of that darn thing, my 150 lb Fred really had a time walking into door frames or into me he was so good about it but had to be frustrating. And just try to get him into the car with that on! Hallie was supposed to have one on when she had that spot off her bum but I opted to just have her in her bed under my feet when I couldn't hold her and I'd keep my foot on her to make sure she didn't bother her stitches. Maybe you could take it off Bonnie when you are in the room with her to give you all a break and just leave it on at bedtime or something? I suppose there is no way to bandage teh spot. I'm wondering about the soft neck thingie for her though?

GOOD NEWS!

Bonnie's owie is good enough to be without the cone for tonight, under close supervision.  I will probably put it on for sleepy time but for now, she's FREE.  She is being sooooo good and not working on the remnants of the owie.  Thanks for your support.  THANKFULLY I do believe we're going to see better times with our Bon Bon.

Woohoo!!   :meme:  I'm sure Maddie and Bonnie will be much happier without that dumb cone.    :xfinger: We hope that her ouchie heals up soon and she won't need it anymore.
