Treat box 5B has arrived!!!

Hey everyone, Mocha and Lassie received their treat box from Melissa , Mimi, Tuttle, and Carson on Saturday!!!!  I didn't see the notice from the post office for a few days until I saw it on Friday.  Julia very graciously offered to run by the p.o. office on Saturday morning and pick it up for me.  (It's about 8.5 miles away, not very conviently located!).  Mocha was so excited when she saw the box and sniffed it alot, and seemed most impatient for Julia and I to get the cameras ready for pictures.  Lassie however, was more subdued.


Mocha was so funny climbing into the box and picking out which toy she wanted to destroy next ( oops ! I meant play with!) .


They loved all the wonderful toys, Mocha began defuzzing the badgers almost immediately.  There were fuzzies all over the carpet!  The dingos were a great hit.  Lassie REALLY liked those.  Mocha and Lassie broke into the rawhide Christmas bones without permission from mom while Aunt Julia and mom were trying to upload the pictures.   I'd like to thank you Melissa, for all the wonderful toys, treats, and the goodies for ME, ( the sudoku puzzle  books, the acorn placemats and napkins, and doxie planner.
Everything was so awesome and super cool.  Mocha and Lassie thank you also from the bottom of their little paws!!!!

I am so glad you finally got it!! I was getting worried!! Looks like all of you had great fun!! I so enjoyed getting the box together for you. Of course the big problem with putting one of these boxes together is of course having to get stuff for our own pups!!! It was tricky keeping them busy for me to put everything in the box!! Again I am glad you all liked the goodies!!!! Have fun, and let the de-stuffing begin!!!

Tee hee, Melissa - we must've tried about 4 pairs of batteries before we got a pair that worked!  We kept saying, "Oh, that would've made a good picture!"  Mocha was hysterical as she continued dragging off yet another toy, and sitting under Brenda's coffee table with it! 

(Aside to Dee Dee:  Can you believe how much hair Mocha has?  I think she has Hallie and Brekke beaten!)

What a great box I knew whoever got the box from Mel would score big.  :thumb: Love the pictures! Lassie is too cute and Mocha!!! My gosh girl you have the luxurious locks! What a great coat Julia is right I think Mocha has both Brekke and Hallie beat put together (and a little Zuzu thrown in as well!). Especially this year since Hallie has lost a lot of coat...she says she'll share her bully sticks if Mocha will give her some! She is just stunning Brenda.  Great post! Always fun to see puppers enjoying new prezzies.

I, too, was struck by Mocha's beautiful long coat.  WOW!  Lassie is beautiful too.  And looks like both dogs loved the treat box.  I really have to hand it to this group......everyone is so generous when they put together the treat boxes.  And with shipping costs these days, its not always easy to afford the goodies and the shipping, but this group has really stepped up to the plate and I am proud to be associated with you guys. 
I LOVED seeing all the photos of the treat box opening, Brenda!

Mocha's coat is absolutely mind-blowing!  She looks like you could shear her for her wool

YOU ARE NOT A DUMMY!!!   They have been doing treat boxes for several years.  It's lots of fun. Barb is the one who usually organizes it and gets it going.  She'll post a notice they are starting one and you sign up.  A box is sent to the first person on the list (no one knows the order) .  That person then sends goodies to the next person on the list and so on, till it finally reaches the last person.There isn't a set amount, whatever the person wants to send.  Check with Barb and see if you could get on the tail end of one.  Hope this explained it a little.  If you have any questions ask Barb.

DeeDee....Mocha says thank you for the compliments, and she'll happily share her coat with Hallie.  She has so much fur I've had people say she looks like a dust mop!  She has been so busy defurring the badger Mel sent, and chewing on the rawhides.  I'm rationing all the other treats!  Give Hallie an extra love and treat from us!

Mel,  Mocha absolutely loves that badger, she's having more fun destuffing it.  The both LOVE the dingo's and all the other treats.  I wish you could have seen Mocha crawling into the box to snatch and grab a toy.  It was soooo funny.  They both had a great time and are thoroughly enjoying everything.  Thanks again for all the goodies.

You are so welcome. It is so much fun to watch our babies destuff!! Mimi really liked the badgers too. So I thought it was a nice one to add to the box. I am glad she is getting so much pleasure out of it!!! (pun intended)    It also makes me think back to all the other treat boxes that have been shared. Do all of our pups crawl in the box? Carson did!!

Have a great time destuffing things.  Zena loves to do it too.  Zack used to but now that he is 14 1/2 he generally just squeaks them. unless he feels like chewing a piece off and swallowing it  :crazyeyes:.
