Another Playdate

Murphy came over again to play with Schatzi yesterday. This time they had the whole backyard to play in. Schatzi enjoyed it this time and chased him and then he chased her. Actually I think he did more chasing! He loved to pounce and if she sat still for too long, he would do those adorable puppy barks at her. After they were through playing and I brought her in, she immediately crawled onto my lap, fell asleep, and started snoring. I just laughed. We are definitely going to keep doing this on a weekly basis.

This is the tree that all the leaves in the pictures came off of. They were on there and gorgeous last Saturday and by Thursday were all on the ground.

Looks like the pups had a great time together.  The pictures are beautiful.  That tree with the sun shining through it was gorgeous.

Murphy is 15 weeks old. He is one of the smartest pups I have met. Lou Ann said the trainer at PetSmart wants to clone him. He was housebroken wthin just a few weeks. He has to work a little harder with the "stay" command, but he's getting there. After all, he is just a puppy!
I was really impressed that they taught him the "drop it" and "leave it" commands at the 3rd class. He does pretty well with these. I told Lou Ann she needed to see how he would do with them if it was a food he really wanted. That would be the test. It also would be the thing that would protect him most if someone ever tried to harm him by tossing food at him that has been tainted with something.

Too cute!  Play dates are so much fun! both moms and kids (the fur and hoo kind both) have fun at them.

What cute pictures!!  Murphy is adorable.      And of course, Schatzi is a beautiful girl in all the pictures.    Running through the leaves looks like so much fun!!
