Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share: 
At 6 months of age, Clifford came to live me on Thanksgiving Day 1994.  A couple weeks earlier, I had agreed to “rescue” him from a friend who decided he wasn’t cut out to be a dog owner.  His 5 yr old daughter wanted to keep Clifford until after Christmas which was ok.  I took Clifford with to my family’s T-Day.  My aunt, who was hosting, and one of her daughters wanted to meet him.  Their excuse to get me to bring him was my aunt’s son and wife lost one of their young daughters suddenly a few months before.  Their family liked small dogs and so Clifford was to be a shining light for them on a less than Thankful day.  Well, he got lots of love and attention and was a shining star that day.  After I got home, I called my friend to see if he was there so I could take Clifford back.  He said Clifford should just stay with me as his daughter was through crying.  Clifford has continued to be my shining star ever since through thick and thin.  We’ve both had our highs and lows in the past 14 years, but together we get by.

Hooray for Clifford!  Great gotcha story.  Sounds like this boy has really made a difference in many lives (but we knew he would--we met Clifford at a Bow-wow, and you can just tell he's an awesomely special fellow!)  And Mike, how wonderful of you to give Clifford his forever home..that's the way things are supposed to work though, you never know who owes whom!
