Toy Crazy!

 :apls:  Hey!  This is a whole new experience for us.  We have a toy-crazed dawg!  Bonnie LOVES to play and it's fun to bring home new toys for her to play with. Her current favorite is the $ Tree squeaky hamburger.  She loves to run up and down the hall squeaking it.   She is an avid fetcher and will bring her toy back to you to throw over and over and....well, you get the picture.  Love our Maddie, but Maddie in her bad previous home never learned to play.  She looks at Bonnie like "What's THAT all about."  Maybe Bonnie will teach our old sweetheart some new tricks, who knows.  Anyway, I'm just grinning ear to ear.  It's soo fun to watch her be a Tasmanian Devil in the house.  She's such a happy girl and we love her to pieces.

PS.....crate update.  This morning, Maddie got me up at the usual 5:30.  I let Bonnie out to do potties too and then just left the crate open.  Maddie came to bed with me (with a little lift from me) and Bonnie sacked out right away in the crate.  Tonight, I'm going to try having the door open and see how that goes.  She's very trust worthy in the house, but then she won't be caged in.  We'll see how it goes.  :xfinger:

Since we've gotten Annie the other 3 are starting to play and wrestle.The "ONLY" toy Annie loves to play with is tennis balls. If she is unable to find one she'll look until she finds it and then wants you to throw it for her.Then if she knows it could be under the couch or one of the recliners she'll stand there and bark until you get a yard stick and get it for her.Just give Bonnie&Maddie time;they'll become good friends in no time.

Sounds like a good plan with the crate thing.  I am so glad that Bonnie likes to play and fetch.  I think she will teach Maddie how to loosen up.  When we got Misty, she got Willy out of grump-mode.  Anything is possible.  Keep those Bonnie stories coming.!!!!!!!!!

Auntie Sandi - how fun to have someone who is cwazy about toys !!!  My mama calls me her Toy Boy !!!  I LOVE de toys too.... and I am berry good about bringing it back for many more throws !!!!

Brandy just watches me play....she is content snuggling in a blankie, so don't get upset if de Roo doesn't take to playin'.... sometimes de girls just like to snuggle !!!

A doxie dat doesn't lub toys???!  What are dey finking??   I lub da toys, my mama can't get me enough toys, eben when i hab dem totally desqueaked and destuffed, I like to keep da dead fing and pway wif it.  My mama usually frows dose away dough.

Parker here: I love toys. I get a new one every week when Mommy and Daddy go shopping on Saturday. I look through the grocery bags every Saturday morning - I can't wait for them slow pokes to unpack and find my toy. I especially like the squeakers. But Momma says NO SQUEAKERS IN BED!!!!

LOL I love it Sandy! She sounds like such a sweetheart, and I hope she does teach Maddie to play a bit too. Nothing melts your heart like when they are happy and playing and squeaking those babies. We want pics!!!!!!!!
