Treat Box 5B Has Landed!!!!

After a most horrible day at work I walk up my 30 stairs to my house and since my arms were full and couldn't really see what was around my feet, I walked right into the box!! Well needless to say my day got so much brighter!!!! Thank you Ms. Martinez!!!! And let me tell you that it took me awhile to get the pictures put together to post because well, there were tears flowing! You have a heart of gold and Scott and I appreciate your very special gift!! (Picture included)  We both got tears in our eyes when we saw the garden memory stone!!. That was very thoughtful of you. The warmth and caring that you put into the gift is beyond words.

I have to say that we have never seen desserts for dogs before!! Tuttle and Carson will get to try one tonight once they wake up from their nap!! (they played hard for a good 45 minutes and now are out!!) Actually Carson is snuggled up in their new blanket right now and won't let Tuttle come near. I am sure that will change in time though. They both enjoy the Breast Cancer BOBO's. Actually, they got to those first and ran with them and I had to track them down to show them the rest!! Scott and I are looking forward to the treats as well. I am thinking it is toffy? They smell really good too. I love the key chain as well. I didn't get a picture of it but it is like a mini charm braclet that has a doxie on it with some other charms but it is a key chain. I am going to have Scott put it on mine today when he gets back. (I tend to break a nail everytime) Thanks agian. We are very happy and very appreciative of Treat Box 5B.

Since I haven't figured out yet how to put a note with each picture I will let you know that Tuttle is the on with the red collar. And Carson is the one with the Blue collar. Thanks to Auntie Cheryl. I am sorry to say though that only two hearts remain on Tuttle's collar. I can't keep them on!!.

This is the extra special gift!! Ms. Martinez had a memory stone engraved for Mimi. Talk about the tears. We love it very much. Like I said before you have a heart of gold Ms. Martinez!!

WOWEE!!!  That was super quick!        We are so happy that you loved all of the goodies inside the box.  It was an absolute delight to shop for you and your pack.  Our hearts broke with your loss of Mimi, but we wanted to include a memorial for you.  The human treats are indeed taffy.  Dewar's is an ice cream shop and candy store where they make everything by hand.  Family owned and WONDERFUL.  There are two types of taffy from Dewar's, penut butter and caramel.  I adore them both.  Thanks for posting all of the cute pictures! Your pups are precious and I am happy that they took to all their special treats.  Also, I glad that your day was brightened by our box!!!!  :apls:  :apls:  :apls:

I really don't know how to thank you enough for the memorial. Right now I have it on my mantel right next to the framed certificate of the tree my Aunt and Uncle got in her name. I am thinking of getting one of my favorite pictures of either just her or her and I and have my Mom paint it for me. She does oil painting and does a great job at it too. Already have a couple of her paintings in my house. So I think I would like one to put on the mantel as well. Of course I don't want to turn in into a shrine so to speak but I like having things around that remind me of her. So I think I can make it look good. And the memorial will of course be the center piece!!

Wonderful pictures. It looks like the pups had FUN! I think we all understand the destuffing - that is a must. What a thoughtful gesture to include a plaque for Mimi. Mrs. Martinez, you rock, as a treat box maker!

That plaque was a lovely gesture-it brought tears to my eyes too. 

What made me laugh though, had little to do with the box.  I absolutely had to laugh at the half de-stuffed dog bed.    I'm working on discouraging the puppy from doing that to our doggie beds right now, so it gave me a good giggle. 

I'm also a fan of those desserts and the molasses treats from the Blue Dog Bakery-they smell so good I've been tempted to try them myself    That was a wonderful box Mrs Martinez  :apls: :apls: :apls:

Cajsa and Gretchen are jealous.  They want to get a box like that too.  I keep telling them they have to wait for the next treat box chain. 

Your two boys look gorgeous all sleek and shiny!  Tons of fun was had by all from the sight of it.  I also had to laugh about the dog bed.  Gretchen has a blanket with holes chewed out of it, but I can't get rid of it since it is HERS!  She will also grab her bed/blanket and toss it around like she's going to tear it to pieces.  That's how the holes got there.  Belly rubs and pats to your babies and thoughts going out to Miss Mimi-angel!

I think we all know about the destuffing of toys and I see your boys also like to chew on their bed.  My gang does the same.  I go through alot of doggie beds.
