Hi April...... I crack up every time I see a post from you. The picture on your profile is priceless~ What is the story behind the ears?

LOL! That's "batdog" in the "full bat". I have no idea why Cajsa's ears do that, but she's been able to do it since she was a puppy. Her littermate Gretchen who lives with my grandparents can't do it though. Cajsa's ears are pretty thin so I guess that's why they stick up instead of flopping over like a "normal" dog ear would do.
For her first Halloween I made her a black satin vampire cape and I have pictures of her doing the "full bat" wearing her cape somewhere. It's really funny!

Yep. Whenever something perks her up or gets her attention they go up. She has quarter-bat (one ear half up), half-bat (one ear completely up) and full bat (both ears up). It's like a guage of how interested she is in something.

I just showed the picture to my daughter and we both think that is just about the coolest thing we've ever seen! In the words of a 15 year old, it's "wickedly awesome." Casja wins the cool pet trick award.

LOL! I'm glad that Cajsa is entertaining! She is such a sweetie - most of the time. When she's not being a sweetie, she's a fiesty little b#@%h and doesn't listen to a thing! She's just "spicy" then. lol

I think Cajsa's ears are the cutest thing in the world -- doxie ears at full sail!!!
Do you have anymore pictures of her fantastic ears??? Please?

PS - I came real close to naming Neeki (Domenica) "Cajsa-Domingo".

Patty, that is sweet! I didn't know that. I'm certain Cajsa would've appreciated it! :-)
And just because you asked and I was able to find some, here are some pics of batdog! One is from last Halloween and she's being "vampdog" licking Elf's neck and the other two are just everyday pics.

I can use photoshop, but only on a very limited scale. I don't have the know-how to do that sort of editing to a picture! She is a cutie with her ears in "full bat"! The best ones are when she's got her butt in the air and she dances her front feet with her ears up. I laugh everytime she does that! IT's like she's going to pounce something and she's gonna do it now!
