IMHA Lukemia??

Friend of a friend has two dachshunds, and one of them has just been diagnosed with this IMHA Lukemia.  Sounds VERY grim.  It can hit overnight, and there are no options, the dog just dies within a week or two??
Anyone heard of this or have any input??

Damn we are on the same page..... I just posted this on the Health page.  I feel horrible for this poor innocent baby!
