When it rains it pours...

So you all know I have been sick the last couple of weeks with what I thought was just a cold. Well I finally made it to the doctor yesterday and I have .... Ready for this??? Bronchitis:full blown, the beginnings of pneumonia, a major sinus infection and she also thought the flu but I am thinking that is not the case. So I have been loaded up with meds. I have no immune system anyway so of course anything I get is very bad and to add the stress of loosing my Mimi girl on top of it didn't help.

I wanted to let everyone know that I am checking in on the board but not always up to posting. This past year has been really bad and I am trying to cope. I wanted to let everyone know that this board and the friends that I have made here are what is keeping me going. Please be patient with me ( I know I have asked this in the past but I still have to ask for my sake). So I will be in and out checking but please know that if I don't post that I am still here and thinking of everyone. Your support for me during all of this past year means the world to me. Thank you very much!

Mel, did you rest today?  Rest this week-end too....take those meds....let Scott take care of you!!!  I know Tuttle and Carson will take care of their mommy also.  Call me if you need me!  Of course I know I can't just jet on out there but sometimes it helps to talk, or just send me some emails.  That will work.  Take care, major Rays and Comforting hugs heading your way!

So sorry to hear this, Mel. At least it's all stuff you will get over without any long term problems. Take it easy and let the meds do their thing. Update us when you feel up to it.

Oh, Mel, sorry to hear you are under the weather!  Hopefully the meds will knock it soon.  I know what you mean about a rough time,  I was just chatting with Cheryl about losing three of my dachsie girls and then my dad in the 10 months between December 2003 and October 2004.  I feel your pain.  Hang in there - we dachsie women are tougher than we seem!
