Honorary Dachshunds???  Dis is Porky Pie and I was wonderin' if we can sign up da baby dog Jade as an Honorary Dachshund.  She is only half a German, but hey...she's still got da German in her.    Oh, and she's kinda oversized, but maybe she could be a bodyguard like Buddy???      Jade's behavior has dramatically improved since last week when she attacked da cat.   Dats why Bandy and I want to nominate her to da dachshund committee to be considered as a Honorary Dachshund candidate. 

Here's da reason why we fink she could be a dachshund.  She likes to dig da holes, (BIG ones!!)  and she's good at it.  She likes to look out da window on da fwom da couch, and barks when we barks.   Jade eben tries to use da ramps we got for us boys.   My mama sez dats funny to see a big girl like her trying to fit on da ramp.     She is partly German due to her heritage, which half yellow Labrador, and half GERMAN shepherd.   Also, she likes to hide under da couch wif us, eben though she gets stuck under dere.       We wish she wouldn't do dat part.   She has shown improved kindness to da dachshund members of da household and respects our property.    Plus, she is getting da "fix" dis weekend so her behavior should be a little better.   One more fing, she grew up wif da dachshunds, so she is confused about what her breed is supposed to do. 

Let me know if we can have a vote on dis or not.  It might me illegal or against the dachshund code, I'm not sure.     If its against da code, jus' forget I brought it up.   I don't want to get turned into Lawyer Beau Leaky or da honorable Judge Guinness.

I don't think I can catch Jade long enough to get any pictures for her star of the day so we will pass on having her be one.   Thanks so much for offering though!!

I am considering a future as a senator.  But, only if dey hab an allergy free senate buidling for me to hang out in.  Den you could be my assistant or somefing.   :thinik:   Dat is iffen you wanted to.   I fink Sentator Porky Pie sounds pretty good don't you?  My mama sez I need to lern how to speak da engwish correctly afore I can be a senator.  So, I gots at least anodder year.  Maybe when I'm four I'll lern how to talk right. er...bark I mean.   Oh yeah, and my first order of business would be to make da allergy free food real cheap for dem hoomans to buy, and all tweats would be free!      I fink dat sounds good.   Oh, and Eggie Fridays sound good for dose dat can eat dem.  I'd have to have peanut butter Fridays.
