I am a Hunter/Huntress -- Yes or No:  Nope.  I only kill toys and use my dachsie powers only in defense.

What I do when my Hoomans are away:   Zzzzzz

Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share:   Zora is our first female dachshund and only the second female that we've had out of six puppers.   Zora has amazing maternal instincts.   She grooms Zeke constantly.   One time her and Zeke were over at a house that had ferrets.   Zeke was on one side of the cage trying to eat them, Zora was on the other side of the cage giving them kisses.

Story that I want to share about my Hoomans:   After our "grandpa" Max went to the Bridge, our hoomans didn't really want to jump back into dog ownership again, and were considering other breeds.   During the time that they were accepting condolences, Mom & Dad found out about our plight.   We were being boarded because our first hooman family had a hooman baby that was severely allergic.   It was a heart wrenching decision for our first mommy.   Because Mom & Dad knew us and had watched us before, they just couldn't let anyone adopt us.   So, less than two weeks after Max went to the Bridge, Mom & Dad opened their heart and their home and gave us our new forever home.

Awwwww Zora - sweet baby girl - you DESERVE to be our Star of the Day !!!!!    I have always loved your Gotcha story....because it really is a happy one for all involved !!!  Your first family was lucky enough to find someone who they knew to bring you into a home that was sad.....  I think you and your brother did a lot of healing when you came !!!
