Who I Own or Live With: My mom and Dad Frank and Sue Shumard, fur brothers Siggy and Billy. My human sister Jessicca and her pups Bella and Hoover and so many foster sibling that I can't count. They come and go:)

Hair Color: Mom says I am mulkleteedone??? But I think I am black and tan double dapple. I look like an Aussie.

Eye Color: Blue Merle, they look like marbles
Favorite Person/People: My momma,
Favorite Toy: I have a football that is bigger than I am that I love to carry around.
Favorite Treat: Chicken but momma don't give it to me often enough
Favorite Things or Favorite Things to Do: Lay and look out the big picture window and police the neighborhood.
Least Favorite Thing to have done or to do: Go to the groomer but it's getting better, momma goes and hold my paw.
Where I Sleep at Night: By dad's feet in the big bed so I can watch the door. I let Billy sleep here beside me in case I need back up!
I am a Hunter/Huntress -- Yes or No: I more of a barker. I will sit back and encourage Siggy but I don't want to get my paws dirty.
What I do when my Hoomans are away: Watch the house, patrol the yard. I try and keep everyone in line.
Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share: They think it's funny to tell the story that I came from the shelter as a vicious dog. I just don't get it when they laugh and say I don't have a vicious bone in my body.
Story that I want to share about my Hoomans: Just that they love my lots and they would do anything for me and my siblings including the foster one. That part I don't always get. Sometimes I don't want to be nice to them and momma always gets on to me and tells me I have to show them the ropes and how to act. So I try and behave and show them how to be good puppies.

Oh, Tofu - you are such a handsome boy!  Congratulations on being Dog Star of the Day!  You and your family live where my Fritz- Angel was born and weaned!  My Aunt Nancy graciously drove me to Jasper when I was in college (April of 1972), to get him from a family that raised dachsies.  It is one of my favorite memories, because my parents cashed in a $25 savings bond we got as a gift from a church in 1959, and I used that to buy him from the breeders.  I love your eyes - and did I mention what a handsome guy you are?
