Yup, Whitney knows where her food is stored and if I bring in NEW treats and lay them on the counter. Last night I bought some "special" treats and put them on the counter. Later she came in the house and ran right up into my face as I was sitting on the couch and started giving me kisses and I asked her WHAT in the world do you want??  She tore out to the kitchen and looked up at where the treats where and started barking......I WANT ONE  >>>  NOW!!!!  SO is too cute!!!

Stinky Baby Dog has also earned the nick name "HeAin'tRight".......  there are several reasons for this, but the one that comes to mind reading about the dogs and food detection is this:

When Kirby was about a year old, he developed this strange habbit of sitting in front of the bathtub, staring at it.   At first I thought he wanted a bath, but when I'd run the water he'd bail.  Bathtime is not his favorite, he usually acts like we beat him for about an hour after.  Anyway, it took us a while to figure out he was staring at the bathtub because the TREAT CUPBOARD is on the other side of that wall.  Now, wouldn't you think a NORMAL dog would stare at the FRONT of the cupboard?

So, am I right or am I right - HE AIN'T RIGHT.    But we love our little SBD.
