Thank You!

I want to say thank you to everyone that has sent cards of well wishes to me. They brought a very bright spot to my days!! They really kept me going. I appreciate the thoughts very much.

I have been put on Lyrica for the pain, still a small dose but working my way up. I have had a very hard time of dealing with the daily struggle to get going. But have been doing much better now. The last few weeks have been hard to handle with pain, horrible storms and a 4 car pile up on the way to work!! I wasn't hurt bad, just sore for a couple of days on top of my normal pain. So I apologize for being absent and lacking in my duties of sending out thank yous to all. But now I am back and I am being very positive that I will stay in this good shape for a long time!!

I am sorry if I missed sending out rays and being there for those who need support. Please know that I have kept everyone in my thoughts and I will be trying to catch up on all posts in the up coming days.

Mel! I had sent a couple of emails to you and have been worried to not hear back...you just haven't been able to get a break, it's about time for some better luck for you!  A car wreckon top of it all?? Thank goodness you are OK. I am glad you are on the Lyrica (are you off the gabapentin?). I hope the Lyrica will really help you and that they can diagnose things for sure and get you better. Keep in touch.

Dee Dee, I am off the gabapentin. Didn't do anything for me anyway. All my bloodwork was good except for my Vitamin D is still a bit low. They haven't figured the cause of that yet. But so far so good.

The car accident was scary, I was the car in front. I had to stop to avoid the crazy driver in front of me who slammed on their brakes, and I didn't hit them,  but the 3 cars behind me hit me. I have a small car and the other 3 were SUV's. SO I was lucky. Now I am just fighting with the insurance on getting my bumper fixed. It is all under investigation now. They haven't been able to get in touch with the last driver who was going at least 65 when she hit! But I count my blessings everyday that I wasn't hurt.

I got two emails from you, and I thought I wrote back. I am sorry if I didn't. OR if there were more that I happened to space. My memory has taken a beating with all the meds they have had me on lately that I can't remember if I did something or not. Got into trouble once with my thyroid pills over that. I couldn't remember that I already took one and then took another. It wasn't long before my heart let me know I double dosed! At least this time I knew what was going on and didn't go to the ER!!

oH man you sure have been through the wringer. I too am so glad you and no one else were seriously hurt in the accident. Accidents are SOOO scary. Glad you didn't have a pupper with you at the time too!

I'm glad at least that the Dr is trying things with you, you were kind of at a standstill last time we talked. I do hope Lyrica is helping!! Hang in there...glad to see you are able to post here again.
