I Went To A Dachsie Picnic!

This afternoon Mommy put me into my car seat (I HATE the thing!), and we went out to a picnic put on by the Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue.  There were puppies all over the place, and all kinds of food!  I ran around so much that I foamed at the mouth, and Mommy told me I look like a mad dog and she gave me some water.  Then I made friends with this really cool guy named Houston who showed me how to swim.  He was in the pool, swimming like a fish, and I absolutely HAD to try!  So Mommy put me in the water, and I swam!  It was  little bit scary, but it felt so nice.  When I got out, I followed Houston around everywhere he went, so he'd know that I'm as cool as he is now!  Mommy told me she's proud of me because I'm such a gentleman, and I'm friendly to everyone, human and canine.  She thinks I'm ferotiously cute, too!

Aren't dachsie picnics fun???  Mebbe if you're ever in our neck of the woods on the first Sunday of the month, you can come with Madderoo to a Dachsie Meetup! BTW...you are VERY handsome!

Your Mom is right you are one cute doxie, swimming can be fun but Hallie says only in hot hot hot weather...otherwise it's just a thinly disguised b-a-t-h.  :scratch:
