Can we maybe get a report on how your mama is feeling?

Mama FINALLY let us on de computer today.... hee hee - she finally felt a little better to sit at de 'puter and turn it on for us !!!  Fank you for asking.... we are doing SO good taking care of her !!!

She has been feeling pretty good - the surgery was last Wed and she came home on Friday.  Sat was her exhausted day, but yesterday she felt better.  De Doctor told her there would be ups and downs.  She is to do NOTHING for the first 2 weeks - so we are making lay on de recliner or de couch, wid us snuggled next to her and all of us covered with the blankie !!!  She is minding us very good !!!

Our Aunti Ellen, with her dachshund Otto are here from California and will stay through this Friday.  Then our aunties that live close will be checking on us and maybe staying a few nights.    She is taking GREAT care of all of us !!!

Mama's work is bringing a meal every other day - so mama and auntie will be excited to see what comes tonight !!!  Mama said she could get used to this !!!

Thank you for all the well wishes (mama hadn't had time to read all yet - but she knows how giving with prayers and rays that you all are !!!) and she feels blessed that she has so many that care about her!!!

Good to hear you're doing so good, Barb. When it's all over, you'll be soooo glad you did it! Maybe you already are? Either way, the worst it over. YAY!!!!

You are good nurses Rudy & Brandy just keep holding mamma down she will be well in no time.No Lifting for the whole 6-8 weeks that way you will not have problems later.

Wow!  That's great that you are well on your way to recovery.   Boy howdy, them hospitals don't let you stay in their fine suites for very long, do they?  I bet the kids are in snuggle overload!

Oh Barb, just enjoy all the snuggling with Rudy and Brandy.  They are great nurses   So is Auntie Ellen; she sounds amazing!  By the way....Your work is bringing you meals every other day???  OMG...where do you work??  Anyway, just take it easy and do everything your good nurses tell you to do!!  Enjoy all the attention. :thumb:
