My new bed, collar, and leash are Shabby Chic, and my strawberry hoodie isn't. I have one more new dress that is Shabby Chic, but I laid it down and didn't bring it along for our photo shoot.

Sir Elton was so fabulous - 2 1/2 hours and he barely did more between songs than get up, have a drink of water, and rearrange his coat as he sat on the piano bench again! He signed autographs from the stage during the last set, and luckily we had two large monitors, since we were up in nosebleed! I would have paid twice as much - it was so good! (Our tickets were $69.95 apiece.)
Now I have tickets to Celtic Woman - saw the 6 ladies on PBS on St. Paddy's - and this time, I scored 3rd section back, on the floor, for next Wednesday!

I love Brekke's matching bed, and collar. I know exactly which dress you are talking about, too (I spend lots of time in Target). I was able to see Elton in concert in 2002. He gave 2 or 4 complimentary tickets to firefighters, EMT's or Police Officers for his concert here that year (it was after September 11 and I thought it was great that he did something like that). I know we had 4, but I'm not sure if someone else gave Randy their two. He does a wonderful concert. Randy didn't want to go, so I took Meghan and two other friends. Meghan only knew two or three Elton John songs at that time, but she loved him by the end of the concert. If you ever have a chance to catch the episode of "Inside the Actor's Studio" that he is on, it is wonderful. I've watched it twice and would watch it again in a heartbeat.

That is so cool that they have the same birthdays! Hey! I just noticed you have a Heidi-Angel too!

Well, she's a good lookin' 7 year old! Awwww....to have a 7 year old in the house again....I know what you mean about time going by so fast! When we got Gretchen and took her to her first vet visit, I joked with the vet, asking him if he thought we could get 14 years out of this one too. We had just lost our 14 year old, Heidi, a few months earlier and he had put her to sleep for us. Welllll....NINE years have gone by since!!! Unbelievable!
