Are any of your doxies real big on the tail wagging?  Chilie is not a big tail wagger.  She will do it occasionally when we're playing or when we come home, but even then it's not excessive.  She also does it when she's outside and she has discovered a bug in the grass.  I love it when she wags her tail.....I just wish she did it more.  Is it a personality thing?  Just curious.

Sargey is a tail wagger -- about 80% of the time and Duggie -- he wags his tail constantly!  When he is excited to see you, not only does his tail go 100 miles per hour but his whole back end wags!  Sarge has gotten "womped" by Duggie's tail many many times.  Looie-Angel was also a avid tail-wagger.  Dee

Amy is our tail wager it starts before she gets out of bed until she goes back at the end of the day, you only have to look at her and it goes. Oliver has a sort of wag but its kept low, and to the tip of the tail.

Eddie is  it a constant tail wagger.  Sam angel was the same one he kept whomping the door jam with his tail and it swelled up.  When I called the vet about the swollen tail she laughed because we both realized then how it had gotten swollen.

The people at Club Pet in Denver, Colorado called Cooper-Angel's tail condition "Happy Tail."  We thought that was so funny, we started singing "Happy tail, happy tail" to him, which made him wag it even HARDER!  He was a great doxie-wannabe Border Collie/Lab dog! :angel12:

Chilie's tail will wag when Kelly talks baby talk to her.  I try to do it, but I guess it's not the same as when Daddy does it.

Zoe wags her tail constantly...her whole back end gets to wiggling so fast, you think it is gonna meet her front end :2funny:   Winston wags his tail like some others here.....when you baby talk to him and when we come home from work, etc. or get company.  I like to do that too...when he is under the covers I baby talk to him and he thumps the bed and moves the covers with his tail.

Boonie is a wagger, his style is like a quick vibration, and almost anything sets it off.  He is a very happy little guy.  Fella is also a wagger.  His style is more florid with a large side to side motion which makes his entire body undulate when he walks.  He is also happy and it doesn't take much to set off the tail with him either.  Skeeter on the other hand is less of a wagger, but when she does it's just a nice "doggie" type of wagging.  She wags her tail the most while barking.

Good question...  Emmy's tail never stops...    I think she even wags it in her sleep...  lol   Crazy dog...      :2funny:        I guess that just means she's a happy girl...  All you have to do is look at her, or say her name and it speeds up...   What would we do without our little ones??         :idiot:

Solly is not a big tail wagger.  He does when he looks at me to pick him up.  He sometimes does it when I come home.  Nope don't think he qualifies as a wagger.
Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.

Oscy.... when he is awake...which is not all that often.
Toby-Man....  Are treats around?  Treats get the tail moving really well!
Baby Bea.... Even when sleeping she wags her tail...
Buelah....  All the time...

Hmm.  I think I have three levels of tail-waggery.

All three wag like crazy when I get home from work-the whole back end gets going.

When I get out treats or cheese, Murphy wags pretty hard, Winston has a little, kind of hopeful, half wag (he also does this hilarious thing where it's almost like he can't quite believe the luck, that he's getting a treat and runs from it!), and Reilly freezes, as if she'd get skipped on the treats if she moved.

Only Reilly wags when you look at her, and it's a sort of low, submissive wag.  Only Murphy wags when he's barking-the harder he barks, the harder he wags.

There is a reason Porky is also known as "wiggle butt".   :thumb:  He LIVES to wag his tail.  Even when he having his tummy issues he's still waggin' that tail.   It cracks me up.   He wags his tail harder and faster for his "favorite" people and fur friends.   Its easy to tell who he likes best.    Just this morning he was having such a tail waggin' about my dad getting home from work that he fell off the couch!   :2funny:
