This mornings update...............Oliver

Morning at mum's is we meet my sister on the "river road" for a about a 3/4 hour walk. I usually leave Amy with Dad, it started when her back was recooperating, but this morning she looked as if she wanted to come, and I really hae to get weight of her, so we all piled into Nanna's car.
Amy walked the whole way there bar three rollies in something that thankfully did not stink. On the return journey Oliver caught sight of a rabbit waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy up ahead and he was of like a bullet, followed by Robbie, Louie, Zac and Teddy................so mum took of after Oliver shouting "WAIT" but he was in the red zone ...............rabbit , gotta run. I turned round to see Amy keeping pace behind me with  a face that was panic stricken "she's leaving me" well my pocket rocket ran full bore for about 5 mins, till Oliver and crew came up a bank from the river with the look of "was it ME you were calling, or was it some other Oliver.
Needless to say they have now had breakfast and doing a well earned snooze.

So I think on the Amy front, she is pulling the wool over my eyes when she does the sit down routine on her normal walks.

Oliver here and I done all that on NO breakfast, stupid mother spooked the rabbit with all that yelling,  and Amy had finally got in on da chase, cannot wait for walks to-night

How funny! I wonder if Amy will want to go for a walk tonight or if she will decide to stay inside...

Max used to do the same thing.   He did not like to walk.  He would drag all the way behind us.  Sometimes, he would just sit down and expect to be carried.   However, if there was something that interested him, he'd charge like a little locomotive.

Hee Hee....  Brandy is the same way sometimes - but once she gets a scent - she is off !!!   LOL - can't wait to see if Amy wants to go tonight !

Since you want to get weight off may have to do the old hot dog on a stick in front of her to get her to walk.I would love a treadmill for all of us Buddy  to wear him out if possible for one Patches too loose weight & myself for my diabetes.
