Dis is Eddie and I'm happy to report that I am finally allowed out of da crate for an extended period of time.   Yep mom said dat since I was doing so well I could be out more and walk around.  So I have set up an exercise program, I get out of my crate walk to da kitchen and pee on da puppy pad den I walk down da hall to the end, back to da living room where I do a lap den back to da kitchen for a drink of water.  Finally I go up da wamp to da couch where I join my mom for a nap and cuddle time den its back to da crate for a rest.  Now if da snow would melt I could go outside and pee, but its too snowy and icy for me to go out yet.

Marcia here Eddie is so funny when he gets out of the crate.  He does follow a certain path and usually does two laps around the living room before he takes a nap.  His one leg is still a little weak, but he has always favored it.   And as for the snow I want it gone NOW, I really don't mind the snow its the ice that drives me nuts.  One of my neighbors cleaned my front walk one day last week while it was slushy so when we has sub zero wind chills over the weekend it all turned to ice and more snow is on the way.

Darn that ground hog.

So happy to hear you are feeling better Eddie.  I hear you on the snow, Ozzy is so perplexed that he cannot walk where he wants to walk because the snow is higher than he is!

Last night I gots to sleep in da big bed wif mom.  After she finished watching the Daily Show wif dat Jon Stewart mom said "Come on Eddie time for bed", but she didn't put me in the crate.  Instead she put me in da big bed wif her and we swept until I had to go potty at 5 AM.

Marcia here:  Eddie didn't tell you the entire story.  When I told him it was time to go to bed it took him half an hour to decide to come into the bed room.  However, it as worth it
I never realized how much I missed the snuggling and taking up 3/4 of the bed he does.  And for the first time in a week I even slept past 4:30.

Sooooo glad to hear momma caught it early and nipped it in the bud. I know...momma's gonna be a meanie about letting you run, now. But she only has your best interest at heart. Glad to hear you're doing so good!!!!!! Keep it up. Thanks for the update, Marcia.
