The quickest way between point A & point B is...

through the coffee table!   
We just bought a new coffee table 2 weeks ago and Cookie isn't sure what to think of it... it blocks her path from the kitchen to the sofa.  Its the type of coffee table that is all wood, and its open in the middle with wood "shelf" a few inches above the floor, a space and then the top.
So the other night she was running from the kitchen to get on the sofa with me.  She stopped at the table, looked left, then right... then I didn't see her.  I heard nails on wood and looked down and guess who decided to climb on that shelf and run through the coffee table.
She just peeked her head out and was so proud of herself for figuring out she no longer has to run around the table- she can crawl through it.    Leave it to a doxie to find the quickest path to the sofa! 

Anyway- I haven't had much online time lately, but wanted to check in and let you all know that we are doing good here!

Trust Ruth to think of that. Oliver does it over hte top of the table as we keep the table next to sofa so Amy cannot jump up, but boy wonder jumps and misses the table.

I think Cookie is "ONE SMART COOKIE!!!"   Let's see....doxie....table...sofa....doxie running thru table....makes sense to me!!!  No coffee table is gonna keep a doxie from snuggling wif her momma on the sofa    Glad to hear that everyone is doing well.   :thumb:  Check in more often....pweeze!
