1 Year Ago Today...

We can't believe it has been a year since Penny's back ordeal began. One year ago today Penny was in surgery for her disk and the whole immune system problem. Time sure flies! Here's to hoping for a health 2008!! Happy New Year everyone!

I have been thinking about you guys alot over the past couple of days.  I think Cookie and Penny may have been roommates.  It feels like longer than a year ago, but yet, not at the same time.
I am so happy to hear that Penny is doing much better.  Lets hope that the health issues stay in 2007 and 2008 is a healthy fun year (for Penny, Cookie, and all the puppers on this board).  :xfinger:

The surgeons really work wonders, don't they....Penny you look fabulous and so does Cookie!!  I too wish every pupper on this board, a Healthy and Happy 2008 not only for themselves but for their families as well.

I am so glad that Penny is doing well.  We will be coming up on two years since Frida had her emergency surgery.  She is stronger than ever and is a faithful ramp user.  We were lucky to have amazing specialists ready to get to work on Frida.  After lots of crate rest Frida was better and friskier than ever.  She goes for daily walks in our lovely central California weather.  Willy, our Cardigan Corgi is still very protective and gentle when playing with Frida.  It was such a traumatic experience for Jim and myself and I love to read other success stories.  Yay to Penny and her anniversary.

Yeah for Cookie!! I remember seeing you through the exam window the day you brought Cookie in! It is just crazy that it has been a year but you're right...sometimes it feels like yesterday.
