Happy Gotcha Day, Patches

It was a happy day for us when Patches arrived on the Dachshund RR 3 years ago. He's 12 now and deaf; but, his nose works overtime. Today, he managed to snag a full bag of dog treats coming in with the groceries and eat about half of them before he got caught, so he won't be getting anything special today. But, if his tummy stays OK, he can have eggies tomorrow!

Patches!!! You are absolutely beautiful. What a great picture of you. Take it easy on the treats, and enjoy those eggs in the morning. Take care, and here's to that nose of yours that is taking over for the ears.
