Merry christmas (A small warning to dachshund owners concerning sweets & xmas)

          Hello fellow dachsund lovers,

                                   
                                       Just writing to say merry christmas and happy new year to everyone! I hope you are enjoying your holidays with your favorite weiner dog! i know that my dog just loves this time of year (she always seems to know when christmas comes) but along with this time of year we have to be a little careful to keep chocolate and onions away from our precious weiners (they are both highly poisonous to weiner dogs) so if you give the gift of chocolate just make sure that you do not put your sweets under the tree because weiners can smell the chocolate and they will knaw at the wrapping and get really sick. just a holiday reminder. when i get my other computer fixed, i will post pictures of my dog and my sister-in-laws and my brothers dog. Happy holidays!!

                                                                   p.s. attached is a picture of my brothers dog (the red one,brandy) and my sister-in-laws dog chloe. my dog isn't in my brothers pictures yet. just give me some time and i will post them.

Thanks for the reminder - we all need them periodically !!!!   I will tell all the people that come over Christmas Day to be sure and not leave any "treats" on the floor or where the doglets can get them.  Happy Holidays !
