Guess there is no Bark Alert

I have noticed the not many really want the Bark Alert. I just hope that every one stay safe and warm this week end. Looks like a preaty good storm going throught the mid west an east this weekend.

Maybe we can just add our phone numbers to our profiles, so they are available those times when we think we should check up on someone. We should especially list cel phone numbers (FOR EMERGENCY USE ONLY) as a lot of time that is the only avenue of communication when there is a crisis.

We Alaskans are just hoping for a white Christmas, haven't had much lately. Yesterday it was minus 15, this morning its plus 15, with snow in the forecast for the next 10 days. That doesn't necessarily mean we are going to get dumped on, we might just get a few flurries. I wouldn't want to be a weatherman in this area, they are so often wrong. We'll see................

Here's hoping that you get snow for Christmas Patty. Do Mimi, Tuttle and Carson need to do the weather dance? It is funny though, when I think of Alaska I think of snow and here you are with out any!!!

I have had about a dozen members give me their info and Mel has agreed to be my back-up and weather watcher. So we're in business, sort of. If Mel gets wind of a weather alert, she will let me know or should we just have her post a "Bark Alert" on the board?

We are getting snow and wintry mix tomorrow morning.

We have had bad weather every weekend in December... when am I going to finish Christmas Shopping???? :verdict:

Valerie, Are you missing the California sunshine yet?? It seems as if you are getting a brutal welcome to the midwest. At least you may see a white Christmas this year so there is something good may come out of all your lousy December weather. Hope you get to shop some before Monday!

You know, we are getting bad weather, but it is not staying grey- its bright and sunny in between the storms- I don't mind cold as long as I can see the sun.

But yes we do miss the sunshine. But, I just go look at my motgage payment though and that makes me not miss it so much.
