Lily is a week shy of 6 months old now and starting to discover that playing with the furkids is fun. For the most part, they are very gentle with her. Except for Willy. He is not aggressive or mean, but he would lick her face off if we let him. He is relentless, so we have to make him stay in another room for now when we let Lily on the floor. These two pictures are of Heidi and Olivia, our basset hound. They are so gentle with Lily. Olivia practically grovels. When Lily reaches out to grab a piece of hair, Olivia just ducks her head and lets Lily grab whatever she can from the back of her head and neck. We think Olivia must have been brought up around kids because she is by far the sweetest around Lily.

We're about to enjoy our first Christmas with Lily, and though she won't know what's going on, it'll be fun watching grandma, aunts and uncles spoil her.

Hi I just wanted to say Lily is absolutely beautiful. These are my first pictures of her but she looks like she loves those doggies. :D.

Olivia is gorgeous as well. I used to have a bassett and miss her terribly.

Those are such wonderful pictures! I'm sure Lily loves the feel of Olivia's  loose skin and soft fur! The picture of Lily and Heidi is priceless. You are right about Christmas. Watching Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents will be lots of fun. And Lily will LOVE the paper!!

Wow...it's hard to believe that Lily is six months old already!  She is just adorable Mack!      I'll look forward to the First Christmas pics!

WOW - 6 months !!!  Time has gone by too fast....  Lily is just gorgeous.... and the pictures of her reaching out to her fursiblings is just priceless.  Christmas will be so special - can't wait to see pictures !!!!

Awww....kids and pets just go together!!! The BEST thing for a family with little ones is a DOG-to clean up the floor when the child is at the table!!! They have a 'secret agreement', ya know. Enjoy! Lovely pics!!! Thanks for sharing :)

OMG Mack!  Lily is beautiful.   

If you recall, Willy was pretty relentless around Jessica, too when we came to visit.  Not agressive, but he just wanted to give her lots of slurpy kisses.
