Penny's Hedgehog Family

One of Penny's first toys was a stuffed hedgehog. He quickly became her favorite toy ever! He was her go to toy for carrying around when someone chased her, the toy she always searched through the basket for, her best toy forever! Penny never destuffed him or broke the squeaker, but she did pull most of his hair out. We eventually had to replace him with an exact replica (although the original Mr. Hedgehog is now in the cedar chest). We found ourselves always on the lookout for a new hedgehog. The other day I realized that she had now accumulated 6 of them!

The first two pictures are of her original Mr. Hedgehog (RIP).

The last picture is a close up of Mrs. Hedgehog. A rather pretty wife for Mr. Hedgehog!

Of Course...all Penny's toys have names...LOL

I love the picture of the de-haired hog - LOL !!!  Rudy is the same way with toys - he doesn't destroy them - and he still has his purple elephant that he came with.

It's ironic that I just purchased the hedgehog w/ Santa hat yesterday for the next lucky treatbox recipient(s).

How cute....   lol   Yes, names please....    Unfortunately Emmy destuffs and destroys all toys in sight...   The only ones that have survived the "Emmy attack" over a week are her hedgehog she got for her birthday (but is slowly being destuffed... lol) and the pink pufferfish that she got in her treat box from Julia and Brekke....   So, far they have had a nice long life.....  lol   And, I must say, what a darling famliy of hedgehogs you have living in your home....

What?  No "Spiney Norman"?  At least that's what Zuzu's hegie is named.  The poor dear, he's latex and gets a looooooooooooooong soak every couple months with the other platic toyz.  They get ICKY
