Introducing the newest member of the family!

Hi All,

Please welcome Dottie! Dottie is an 8 year old piebald, smooth-coated mini and retired breeder dog. This little gal had 7 litters in 8 years before making it to rescue! Many thanks to Harmony Hounds for Dottie's rescue from Nevada!

She joined us Thanksgiving Saturday! Ken, Patches and I went to Virginia to visit her and she came home with us.

She has a sweet temperment and the only problem we have discovered is that she's a jumper! Yep, she can clear the baby gate without difficulty and we know she's been on the kitchen table...twice. She is leash trained to walk; but, not to potty so we had to put up a fence...quick! She is living in the lap of luxury with only 1 boy friend, sleeping in the big bed and squirrels to chase!

Ooooooooooh! How WONDERFUL!!! And an older girl-WHOOOHOOOO! I can hardly wait to see some pics of precious Dottie! CONGRATULATIONS to you and your new springy sprongy doglet!

PS.....you guys are reeeeeeeeeally tempting me! I really want another one, but it just aint possible right now. So I'll just revel in all this dachsie dogapulting that's happening now.

Oh how exciting! Older girls make great dogs! Cookie was 6 when we adopted her.

Congratulations !!! Can't wait to see picture and hear more about your new baby girl !!!! Her story sounds a lot like my Brandy's - Brandy was almost six when we got her and she had had multi liters - they turned her in to rescue because they almost lost her with her last litter.

Dottie can now enjoy the life she deserves !
