Well, the surprise was foiled. Um...not by me though.   I would never do such a thing.  :2funny:   My mom and I went to clean my sister's house this afternoon.  First of all, it was pretty much spotless to begin with.   :doah:  Then secondly, as I was dusting her bookshelf, I see her walk past the window.  My mother and I quickly grabbed all our stuff and hid in the closet.   We didn't want her to see us, since it was her birthday present from us.  We stood in the closet for a while when all of a sudden I got a urge to sneeze!   I tried holding it in, but it didn't work.  "ACHOO" out came the loudest sneeze I've had in my entire life.    :doah:  Then my sister just kind stood in her kitchen looking confused and my mom and I were literally dying of the giggles in the closet.   :2funny:   We opened the closet door and all had a good laugh about it.

We explained to my sister that we were trying to surprise her.  Then she told us she was on a later lunch than usual because one of her co-workers had to go earlier.  So...after that surprise was ruined, my mom and I were happy we still had another big surprise for her tomorrow.

As my mom was cleaning the kitchen, I heard her talking withmy sister.  She says, "Oh I talked to Grandma today and she was getting all ready to leave"   My sister's says, "Oh?  Where is she going?"  Then my mom realizing she gave away the secret says, "Um, where?? Well the senior center of course!"   Then my sister says, "Oh, I didn't realize you had to get ready to go there first.  I thought it was just down the street from her house."  Then my mom says, "Um, well it is, they were just having a special dinner."      My sister looked at her stangely and my mom and I started laughing again.

Then, i was talking to my sister about our "movie night" tomorrow.      She kept asking me lots of questions and it threw me off guard.  She asked why my husband was coming with us and I stupidly said, "Oh well, mom and dad are coming too."   :doah:  Then she was really curious asking why they were coming.  So...we had to give in and tell her we were buying her supper and bringing it over to her tomorrow.   Then we keep on talking and she asks if we can still watch the movie.   I say, "Well I'm not sure Grandma and Mom and Dad would like it."    :BangHead:   OOOPS!!!!   I didn't even realize what I said till she got a huge grin on her face and said, "Grandma???"   :2funny:

Sorry this was a long story, but I hope it can give you all a laugh.   This is exactly why my family doesn't do surprise parties.  We get so nervous trying to keep it a secret, when someone starts asking questions we get thrown off and spill the beans.   :2funny:  My whole family does the same thing.   Except my sister, she could keep a secret fro centuries and no one would know.   :2funny:

Too Funny!!   But also a bummer :doah:  Sounds like something in a sitcom!! I can just imagin your sister face when she heard the sneeze coming from her closet!!! Sorry it was spoiled but I am sure you all will have a great time. And something to talk about over dinner for years to come!
