No way am I going out there again!!!

You will neber guess what happend to me today!!    :crazyeyes:  I'm still scared silly!   I went outside to go potty and I was trotting around da yard.  A BIG gust of wind came up and rolled me ober!  I was so mad, I started barking.  Mama came running to see if I was okay.  Den she set me back on my feet and WHAM a stick hits me in da face!  OUCH!!!   I'm not habing a good day so far!   Da stick broke in half once it hit my face.     Den mama told me to hurry up and go so we could get outta dis wind.  Well, you know wez gotta find da perfect spot to go, so I kept searching.  Den da wind came up again and rolled me into da side of da fence and da sticker patch.   

Well dat was da last straw.  I went potty in da air, jumped up on my feet and growled!   Mama started laughing, for some reason she thought it was funny.  Den we ran inside fast as we could.  Mama picked all dem stickers out of me and den I laid down and took a nap.   Mama sez we haben't had wind dis bad in a while, and da stoopid weaderman hasn't eben put out a wind warning yet.    :verdict:  Dere is no way I'm going out again today  If mama wants me to go, she'll hab to kick me out. In fact, I might even bite her if she twies.  Dats how mad I am at da Mudder Nature today!       

Somebody must hab made da Mudder Nature real mad to make her gib us all dis wind.   Oh yeah, and mama had to run out and grab our kittens and lock dem in da shop.  Dey were rolling all ober da gwound too.  Poor fings!   Plus mama gab dem some warm milk so dey wouldn't get cold.  Its 70 degrees outside but wif da norf wind it feels lots cooler.

Fankfully da wind has died down a bit now.  Its onwy bad gusts here and there now, not constant like before.

Wow! We can get some really strong wind storms here (we just had a big one a couple of weeks ago that brought a lot of trees down) but I've never seen winds so strong they would roll a doxie over. Although Hallie has caught some "tail winds" that move her along a little faster! The theme music from Wizard of Oz is playing in my head! Did the stick that hit him in the face really break in half? Gads! Is his nose ok? I hope that isn't a common thing out there. I love the wind but that would be overkill. You be careful out there Porky.

Ooooh, Porky Pie, I don't blame you one little bit.  Dat wind sounds NASTY!  You is so wittle dat the Big Bad Blow would just plumb blow you away.    I hope you snuggled under a nice warm blankie when you gots inside.

I think the wind rolled him like that because he kept picking up his left paw, so maybe he was off balance?    The stick wasn't very big by the way.  More like a twig, so he was just fine.  Although I did make sure to check him over and give him extra belly rubs after all that.   I was glad those gusts only lasted for a few hours.  Our kittens weigh about 2 pounds so the poor little things were trying so hard.  They would start walking and get rolled.   They were put into the shop for the rest of the day.   

Hey Dee, If you like the wind maybe you should move to Nebraska.  We have wind frequently.  Most people around here, myself included, hate it.  We get high wind warnings a lot!   I'm talking 60+ mile an hour gusts!   This summer we had a storm with hurricane force winds. It was terrifying!    Luckilly the HUGE wind storms are more common in March and April than this time of year.  I'm not really sure why.   :thinik:

Hey Porky!!! Tuttle here, I feel for ya!! We had the wind too! I got rolled down the big hill, but my chain stopped me half way. You be careful out there. I am glad you have a fence to stop you now! If the wind was blowing the other direction you might have been blown to Kansas and have to change your name to Toto!!

Hey Dee, If you like the wind maybe you should move to Nebraska.  We have wind frequently.  Most people around here, myself included, hate it. 

Actualy, she only THINKS she lives in Nebraska.  She started off n Kansas and got blown north!
