I made Petunia her Halloween costume and just wanted to share pictures.









I think she realy likes the costume cause she posed so nicely.

It wasn't hard. I didn't realy have a pattern. I made my own to what I wanted in a costume. I used a basic harness pattern and then went from there. I sew a lot,  so its not hard for me. I'm making a fleece coat for Gunner right now. If you have a sewing machine its just a matter of looking at a harness and then making it.   :) If you need a pattern let me know. I make everything into a harness. Petunia's costume is also a harness.

I can't get over Petunia,  she modeled her costume for my son,  and his wife today. Usually she gives me a little trouble when I put her harness on-then when I tell her its walkie time she is Ok. Put with the costume she was awesome.

LOL that is a riot! Great job on that and what a good girl to wear it. Whenever I put anything on Hallie...costume, harness, etc, I always pet and fiddle with whatever it is on her, the whole while telling her WOW you are sooooo beeeYOOtiful in that, look at how your color sets it off, etc. She will alway sit with her head high and her eyes squinted shut, she loves it. Whenever I get out something she knows she will wear she always comes racing over, turns around fast and sits with her back to me, waiting for me to put it on her. I'll bet Petunia will love wearing things more each time LOL she sounds to be all "little girl" too!

Petunia is a little rescue and we don't know much about her. She has a few little issues,  but nothing we can't work with. She is such a good little dog and just wants to be loved and please you. Her fostermom and I think she is the product of a pyppy mill. Her momma was found as a stray,  and was taken in by Beckie and I adopted Petunia from her.
She just loves that costume though.

This is Daniel Karen's son.  I think this is cruel and unjust for the dachsund in the costume.  My mother is striking me repeatedly as I type.  I hope that my opinion is not cast vicariously aside.
