Terri, you would not believe the food vendors at our fair.  We get a booklet about them and Dan makes a list of which ones he wants to hit.  He likes the Philly Cheesesteak place and I like the shrimp-stuffed pitas.  Its all great!!!

These pictures are great Patty! It's so neat to actually see the fair that we hear about every year. I am with Terri those treats look great, and you did so well with yours!!! Dan cracks me up with his umbrella hat and the wooden bear with the missing front teeth with a sign that says "Gone Fithin' " is a hoot!  Domingo's sign is wonderful, that is neat you got a picture with the guy who made it for you. Hallie would have loved those goats! Thanks for sharing these, makes me want to go back to Pallyoop! (LOL...poor Delia!). You don't look a day older than when you were at the bow wow here, how do you DO that????

Dee, I don't know "how I do that."  LOL!  Lots of people comment on my skin, at the oddest times, and I don't really know what they are seeing.  When I had my surgery last year, and I was puking my guts out, even though I hadn't eaten a thing for two days, all the nurses could say was "what nice skin you have."  One day I was at the dentist, under the bright light, and all I could think of is they can probably see every blemish and stray hair, etc., then the gal stopped and said "I just have to ask, what do you do to your skin, it looks great."  I don't get it.  The only thing I can think of is I use a Buf-Puf, and have ever since I was 16.  I just recently read that a Buf-Puf will keep a person's skin firm.  Other than that, its Witch Hazel as a toner and I've been using eye cream ever since I was 12 and imitating my older sister.

Dan likes these really messy, and delicious, philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and I go for the shrimp, lettuce, tomato stuffed pitas with creamy ranch dressing.  The corn dogs are great too.  There must be 50 food vendors at the fair, there is SO much good food.  We get a fair guide every year and mark the food vendors we want to hit.  One time someone had frog legs and another had halibut tacos.  We go to the fair hungry and then eat our way through it.  We stop to rest once in a while at the beer garden and have a chardonnay.
Dan wears his umbrella hat all the time, LOL, even to work.  People see it and think......"oh, thats just Dan!"

I love the State Fair pics. We had talked about going to the one here in S.C., but it got here a little too fast this year. The last time I went to it was the year before Meghan was born. She would love for us to go sometime. It is in Columbia, so it's only an hour and a half away. Maybe we will get there next year.
Hey, can you do a Picasa album of the inside of your house since it is finished and you are moved in. I don't think we ever did get those pictures  :thinik:

Love the pictures!  Especially the goats. I grew up on a farm and love goats.....I want one but DH said that Franky and Delilah are as stubborn as goats & that's good enough!  SIGH... city boys, what can ya do?  What is the yummy looking candy that won you a blue ribbon ?
If you are ever in Pennsylvania, my husband would love to take Dan to Philadelphia for a real sloppy Philly Cheesesteak.  At least once a year we have to make the 2 1/2 hour trek to Philly to get my husband a cheesesteak (YUCK! I say.....).
