Sigh...When is summer going to end??

I love San Diego and have lived here my entire life, but sometimes it would be nice to have a season once in a while. We had some drizzle this week but it is supposed to be in the mid-70s today and mid-80s this weekend! I know Penny loves it (pic from the Pennycam this morning) and wouldn't have it any other way, but sometimes it would be nice to have something different. It is almost November and feels like late summer still! Good thing we are going to Boston this weekend and will get to see what Fall is really like :thumb:

Awww, Penny looks so cute and contented laying there in the sun. Yes, a change of seasons is really nice but here too (Cinti, Oh) it has been in the 70's and still feels like summer....I agree...When Will It End?? Enjoy Boston....it should look fabulous with all the Fall colors!!

When I lived in CA I was in the desert. El Centro, so when I was tired of the heat I would go to Julian. I am sure you have been there before. They have the best apple pie there. Really neat little town too! Have fun in Boston. You should have plenty of weather there from the looks of it this weekend.

Funny you should mention that as we just went up there a couple of weekends ago with some friends. I love getting a slice of apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. My aunt and uncle actually own a really cute cabin in Julian.

And of course you have to make a stop at Dudley's Bakery on the way back home for some really YUMMY bread. http://www.dudleysbakery.com/ We bought 6 loaves - LOL!! They freeze really well!

Thanks for posting the link! I love their bread and miss it terribly!! I could go for some now! Do you ever borrow your aunt and uncles cabin for a week long getaway? That would be so much fun, especially with snow on the ground!!

We actually haven't borrowed it yet. We were going to last year but had terrible rains and it wouldn't have been much fun. It is on the to do list though...

LOL - I dream of your weather !!!!! We have humidity so bad and it seems to get worse every year. I love Spring and Fall and we have so little of those...... Enjoy your fall clothes in Boston !!!

It's cooled down a lot here, but we still have some humidity... I'm near Pittsburgh PA. Its chilly at night so have been getting use out of the fleecies.
