but, we are still alive and kickin....   lol   I have been working a 9 hour shift almost every day....   Every Saturday included...   But, I will be getting every other Sat off now...   And, I may be able to check in  more then....   lol   So, I am quickly sending a bunch of rays to all of you who need them...  I will be praying for you...   The Princess is NOT happy about my work time..   She acts like she will never see me again when I come home, but it is cute, she attacks....  Nothing better than her cute little face meeting me at the door when I come home from a long day at work....  But, then it's time for kids' homework, dinner and then bed, so I don't get to cuddle my Princess much anymore, so when we do, it seems more special...  I have found after this last month of working that I miss my Emmy more than anything, I'm used to the kids being in school all day, so I don't really get to miss them, but I always had Emmy right by my side...   And, when I am at work, there's no cuddling...   lol   I miss that...   Maybe I'm crazy????   Do any of you miss your furkids when your at work???  Or am I just a little loony???   haha    I hope all is well with everybody...    Sending prayers, rays to you all....   And, special belly rubs to our fur friends....

I miss Porky when I'm at work too.  Why do you think I specifically searched for a job where I would only work maximum 4hours a day.   If you're nutty then what's that make me. lol   :2funny:  It is really  hard not to get those cuddles every day.   I'm sure your baby understands.    :comfort:  Don't feel bad.   I'm sending you rays too so you cang get over that sore throat!   Get to feeling better okay?

*hugs*

I work for myself so I make my own hours, but I do have to leave the house.  I try not to be gone more than 2 or 3 hours at a time, but Eddie still misses me - Eddie misses me when I go to my home office which is 20 feet from Eddie's spot on the couch.

Eddie here - Mom weaves me all da time, but some times when she comes home she brings treats.

I'm right there with ya', sisters.  I hate it that I have to put Maddie in her crate and then go off to work.  She's none too thrilled about it either.  I feel like such a bad mom.  Thankfully, I work 1/2 mile from home, so I walk home for lunch.  That's our special time together.  And the cute thing is, she KNOWS she gets "snuggle time" and waits for it expectedly.  After we have our snuggle where she practically leans into my neck, I put her down.  She then knows the drill.  Off she goes, forlorn, into her wire crate.  It's so sad.  Then I walk back to work.  There are days where I just don't feel like walking, but I know there's a Madderoo waiting for me, depending on me, so I press on.

Still, I've got the guilties for leaving her for so long of a stretch.....and especially recently where she has to go into her crate with the dreaded cone on.

Hey, there, Madderoo, good job on givin' your mama "the guilties"!!  We rate you at 5.9 out of 6.  AND. . . the great execution of the "self cwate" move with a degree of difficulty of 3.5 for the dreaded cone moves you into gold medal contention!  Way to go!!!

I am right there with you all.  I work 8 to 4 Monday through Friday and I miss them terribly when I am at work!!!!  I have been spending a lot of time with my mom lately since she hasn't been feeling quite herself....so actually daddy gets to spend more time with them than I do.....I am definitely jealous about that!!!!  But when I do get home we get to snuggle on the couch together and then in da big bed!!!  If we go anywhere out of town we miss them ALOT!!!!  I don't know what I would do without their companionship

Your not alone Tara....I miss my crew terribly when I'm at work!  Your right though,  there is nothing better than the welcome that our furkids give us when we get home.  Give Princess Emmy some belly rubs from all of us and tell her that Princess Bea can't wait to hear from her!

Well, I am glad to see I am not alone...   lol   I just thought I was going crazy...        :idiot:       The last couple of days have been nice though...  We are not open on Sundays, so I got to spend all day cuddling my Princess, and I only worked the 5 hour shift yesterday so there was plenty of cuddle time before I left for work, then I had today off, so it has been great for Emmy & I both....   But, tomorrow, it's back to a 9 hour shift....  UGH!!!!   Such is life I guess...     Dang it....   lol    Hope everybodies work week goes well this week....   *hugs*

Dee Dee and Hallie

Heck I miss Hallie when I'm in the shower! I always cuddle with her before I leave her for those long 15 minutes and I always ask her if she wants me to fly her Aunt Delia out here from Texas to sit with her while I take my shower.  :headbang: I can't imagine leaving her every day for work, which is why I keep working for myself with ridiculously long hours and no benefits.  There is rarely a time in any day we are farther than arms length apart, the only place I go where I can't take her is the gym (and she is always right outside the big window a few feet away where I can see the van the whole time) or the dentist or Doctor. Other than that, if she can't go with me I just don't go. I don't know many people who miss other people in a day the way we can miss our furkids!

I at present and probably till we retire in 2-3 yrs will be working full time. I have my screen saver and the time we have with them is taken to the Nth degree. Not saying I would not want to  spend all  my time with them, I would if I could, but the best we can do is they have each other  :comfort: and that is a comfort and they adore each other.
Monday mornings are the worst, seeing his eyes, you would have to wake Amy up to see hers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
