Not sure if I should be happy or sad...

I'm all confuseded now!! Momma told me yestaday dat tomorrow I was going to Lacy's. Well, I went to bed and when I waked up, momma and I went out wike normal, (froze my tail off) and den momma started cooking da breakfast. Wait....wat? Is it not tomorrow???

So..I barked at her. She said, "Porky Pie, patience, you're hurting my ears!" So..den I layed on da floor in the pitiful position and gab her a BIG sigh and da LOOK. She jus kept on cooking. Den we ate.

So..as soon as breakfast was ober, I grabbed my coat. "I'm ready to go mom." Den she picked me up and we went back to bed?! Okay..I'm all about da snuggles and da warm bed, but we jus woke up!!

Momma said we aren't going to Lacy's today abterall. :idiot: Dese humans, need to make up dere minds. Gosh!

So...I'm docktor Von Porky Pie today. What's eben funnier is momma sounds all squeaky, so eberytime she talks I act like I don't know her and bark at her. Dis could be a fun day!! :apls:

Hang in there Porkey and take care of momma. She sounds like she is really not feeling well and has come down with the nasty bug that is plaquing the contry!! Give lots of snuggles and kisses to make her feel better.

Take care of yourself. Keep warm!! I'll be sending lots of rays for a speedy recovery. Maybe you shouldn't listen to the Husker game on the radio! You need to relax and not get worked up!!

Actuawy, momma sez to tell you dat she doesn't feel vewy bad, just can't talk. She is weading her book and resting. I'm sure she'll be fine to listen to da game tomorrow. If dose Huskers start doing bad, she'll just turn it off so she doesn't hab to yell at dem . Fanks for da warm wishes. It's momma fault cuz she didn't turn on da heat down in da wiving woom and now it takes a bit to get it warmed up. It is going to be cold and rainy all weekend here too.

Porky Pie...tell your momma that she needs to drink a mixture of Honey and Lemon and a little whiskey....that will help!!!! (and if it doesn't.....she really won't care)

Cheryl, I love your whiskey idea. However, i don't think that would be the best combination with the medicine I'm on. Plus I am already dizzy from the ear infection. I might fall down the stairs!

I did manage to get my voice back. (Finally) Thanks for the great home remedies. My grandma and mom both told me to do the Honey Lemon tea also.

We have a 90th birthday party to go to tomorrow so, I hope I'm well enough to go. That would be a real bummer if I had to miss that. Also I want to be up and ready for the big game tomorrow, and we better win!

She has had it for over a week now... But, it's her own fault!!! :verdict: She's da one dat won't go to the Dr., cuz she says she don't wike Dr.'s???? I wike my Dr.... She has had stwep throat, and she has still been going to da work instead of staying home and cuddling wif me!!!! What is wif dat??? :scratch: I hope dat your momma gets feewing better soon... Ah...da joys of wiving in a small town. I am gwad you got wots of snuggles dough. Dats always da best!

I was snuggwing in da bed wif momma dis morning and den she made me mad. She frew back da covers and said, "Alright time to get up!" I was mad cuz all dat cold air hit me. I kicked her right in da gut! Serves her right. I eben gab her a loud grunt too so she'd know to cover me back up now!!
