These pictures seem a year ago now because it was DRY. It's raining right now and supposed to keep raining for as far as the forecast goes, you forget how it felt to be dry out once these rains set in.  :scratch: Hallie and I start working Mon and Fri away from the house next month for a while so at least it won't be so hard staying in when it's wet out.

LOL Ruth you crack me up again...those waving flowers just make me chuckle! I don't know where you find these things. Unfortunately the PallyWhoop/Pallyoop Fair ended last Sunday. I'll tell ya though when you get to Seattle you is gonna get WET!  Enjoy your trip and your grandbabies!!! Are the furkids going with you?

Ha, Delia, I'd sure like the opportunity to run around taking photos with Laura! (maybe when we get to our winter home in TX.... )

Dan said he can't wait.  He is such a great person to travel with.  He loves checking everything out.....you never feel like you are just dragging him along or that he is bored.  I still need to post our pictures from the Alaska State Fair.  Maybe I can get to that later today.  Its pouring out and a good day to do inside stuff.

I could tell Dan was a trooper you are lucky! It would be really fun to go to the fair with you guys, you will have to be here early enough to enter something! I'd love to see your photos of your fair, this is the only state fair I've been to.

I had a really good year there with my art, as I mentioned the mini bear painting won 1st over 206 entries, and sold. And the doxie puppy butt painting got People's Choice one day (246 votes) and sold...and before I could get home and take it off my web site someone bought it again! I sold them a print instead, several people bought prints of that one. Here is part of the exhibition my little painting is at the end of the red arrow.

Sounds like rain is hitting all over now, yuck! Cold and raining here too supposed to really pour tonight, last night we had really strong winds. Summer came and went way too fast. Hallie and I have been taking really nice extra long walks this week knowing the rains were coming and it's going to be wet now until next spring!  :thinik:

Great pics, as usual.  Looks like that bike might be a bit tough to ride, especially without a chain.
