Have been leaving Patches loose in the house well no more after today crate time for her, I had a doctors appointment this morning so let Patches out about 6:00am -7:00am. Then she comes in Buddy goes out for an hour then Patches back out for about 20 minutes she comes in let Buddy back out. I leave about 8:40am return home about 10:15am.Patches very busy girl gets into the trash in my bedroom drags it everywhere the to top it off she jumps onto my husbands bed and poops never found any pee will have to get the black light out tonight and look around.Hubby thought he fixed the bedroom door to where the dogs could not go in his room he bought the wrong kind of latch for our old house so not the latch is broken cannot make the door stay shut. That makes three time Patches has jumped on his bed and pooped on it I do not understand why she does that she is crazy about my husband. When he comes in from work she goes wild greeting him ,she gets in his lap and sleeps, they play together,he sneaks her french fries, she goes to him if she thinks I'm mad at her. I just do not know why she does that on his bed of course she sleeps with me + she cannot get on my bed by herself not unless I leave the chair out too far do not think she would poop in the bed she also sleeps in.
I guess I will just crate her if I leave or both my husband & I leave the house.

Ohhh Patches that kind of behaviour is not going to get you free roam of the house alone any time soon. I wonder why she poops on your husbands bed only, that is really odd especially since she likes him! Sometimes you just can't figure out what is going on in that little head of theirs.

She probably poops in the bed because she is attracted to the smell, which humans can't smell.  You's have to strip the entire bed, wash everything, and spray the matress itself with a odor neutralizing spray.  I'm  sure she isn't being "human" so don't try to analyze her behavior.  When you gotta go, you gotta go! :dontknow:

Oh Patches, you are going to have to be a good girl for your mommy and daddy!!   :doah:
No more poopin on daddy's bed!!.....it is true that we really never know what is going on in that little head of theirs.  Is there a way to fix the latch to hubby's bedroom so Patches can't get in there?  If you are a good little girl Patches, then you won't hafta stay in the crate.....
